Jinho also brings to his work special meanings the horizontal lines represent stable and calm while vertical lines describe the tension which are shown by the colours he uses. Red means passion, love, danger, brave; blue means calm, fresh, cold green means truthful, youth, peace; and yellow means happy, hope, cheerful. The shell design is a feature unique in some of his work using a contrast that creates the effect as if two different mediums have been used.
